The TELEVES 768110 Ethernet Switch 5-port Gigabit unmanaged, is a 5-port unmanaged L2 Ethernet switch, designed and manufactured to provide stable and high-speed 10/100/1000 Mbps wired connections among the different clients on the network. This device has multiple applications that can be implemented by the professional IT technician. It can be installed in a high demand workstation, providing full gigabit speeds as needed, while continuing to serve customers at their current speeds. It also allows the fast and easy creation of a new network, with link speeds adapted to the requirements of each user, being perfectly suited for entertainment, multimedia and other various applications that require moving lots of data across the network. Additionally, it provides backwards compatibility, allowing the adaptation of existing 10/100 Mbps Ethernet networks to support server networks, plus it has automatic MDI/MDIX detection, which allows each port to negotiate independently both its speed and its communication protocol (Full-Duplex or Half-Duplex). This Plug & Play device features simple operation without the need of configuration, making it suitable for multiple applications, specially designed for small networks that do not require many ports. Moreover, it comes in a metal case that offers a professional design, as well as better heat dissipation and robustness.
