TELEVES IPTV with NEW IP STREAMER HEADEND MODULES

27/04/2020

TELEVES Corporation, a leader in RF, Data and IPTV among other technologies, introduces 2 new IP STREAMERS in its T.0X Headend Module series, which are available through EDISION B2B. These new IP STREAMERS are fully compatible with all the other T.0X series headend modules (like the ones that comprise the EDI-HOTEL headends in EDISION website) plus with all their accessories, such as housings, PSU's, support bases, etc.

The first unit, the 565701 T.0X DVB-Τ/Τ2 4-MUX CI to 32 IP STREAMS, has four DVB-T/T2 demodulators, out of 2 inputs of 2 DVB-T/T2 channels each. It generates an IP encapsulated output from the multiplexing of the services available in these 4 different DVB-T/T2 MUXES. The encrypted DVB-T/T2 channels can be transformed into free IP services through the CI interface and the appropriate CAM module.

The second unit, the 565801 T.0X DVB-S2 MUX 3TP CI to 32 IP STREAMS, has three demodulators (TS A, TS B, TS C). It generates an IP encapsulated output from the multiplexing of the services available in these 3 different TV SAT transponders, from 2 different satellites (2 independent SAT inputs), or from a single satellite, using the headend's input loop. The encrypted satellite channels can be transformed into free IP services through the CI interface and the appropriate CAM module.

Their many advanced features include, among others:

- CONTROL & CONFIGURATION: via Wi-Fi with OTG USB-microUSB cable + WiFi adapter (Ref. 216802) and/or Embedded Web Interface for module configuration.

- Loop through, Daisy chain signal distribution in the IP headend.

- Multiple services can be added at once by selecting one base IP address and one base port, such as the wanted services, and an IP address or port auto-increment.

- Separated networks in each module: Each unit has two Ethernet RJ45 connectors, which can be used on an single network or on two separate networks, one for control and the other for video distribution.

- Cloning of headends configurations: The web interface allows to export/import files for duplicating units (or complete headends) configurations.

- Status reports generation: Users can download report files on the selected unit, or of the complete headend, to make easier debugging in the event of an incident.
